Arrow of Light

Clayton received his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts on Tuesday night. This is the highest award a Cub Scout can get. We were so proud to see how hard he worked to get this. I've been the fill in Den leader for the past 4 months. I have loved spending time with Clay and realizing that he is really funny. Now it is time for Dad to take the reins and make him an Eagle Scout!
Here Clay is crossing the bridge from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. He was so nervous that he was going to say something wrong and then he wouldn't get his award.
I'm trying to put the badge on his shirt with a safety pin. It's harder than it looks!

We are so proud of you Clay! Good Luck in Boys Scouts! Soon to be a Eagle Scout? Of course!

Clayton, Papa and I are so proud of you and your achievement in Cub Scouts. The "arrow of light" is such a wonderful award. Papa remembers receiving his own "arrow of light". You look so grown up and now a Boy Scout. YEAH!!!
Love,
Dawnie and Papa
