Graduation

I'm so proud of my boys! They all worked so hard this year to do their best!
Clayton got straight A's again! He was so happy! The first thing that he said to me was, "how much money is this worth Mom?" This year has been really tough for him but he kept trying to do his best and made it through. Good Job Clay!
Wade received an award for being a Math Master! Yes, that is right MATH! Wade loves the immediate results that come from doing a math problem. Reading just takes to long for his attention span. We are so proud of you Wade.
Luke graduated from pre-school! Yes, my baby goes to Kindergarten next year. Luke has grown up so much. He loves going to school but is just as happy to come home with mom. Good Job Luke!

Milk Anyone?

I made these milk carton carriers for the kid's teachers this year. My friend Jamie found the tutorial and showed me how to do it. I think that they turned out pretty good. This is themed "Under the Sea". Luke loved this one because of the googlie eyes. So he gave it to his pre-school teacher, Miss Cami.
This is themed "The Garden" . I made this one for fun. My boys wouldn't dream of giving something so girly to their teachers. For Clayton's teacher I made a "Hula" themed one. I put a grass skirt along the bottom with bamboo shoots growing up the side. I forgot to take a picture of it before he gave it away. Oh Well! Maybe I'll make another one.

Our new slide

After much thought and deliberation we decided to get the kids a new slide for the summer. The boys have been on it everyday for a week now. The are little chocolate drops. I wish that I could still tan like that! The slide has two cannons that you can shoot at people as they slide down. That is the part that the boys like best.
Just Cooling Off!

Here is Luke demonstrating how to get to the top of the slide. Okay, Yes I did try the slide and I'm not as young as I use to be. Just pulling myself up almost turned the whole thing over. My boys thought that it was soooo funny.

Luke is so proud of himself. He loves playing on his new toy. Even when the boys are at school he wants to be on it.
Luke caught a pretty white butterfly. He loves bugs and wants to keep everything that he gets. It's a little scary sometimes what he brings me. He's all boy!

Happy Birthday Clayton!

I can't believe that Clay is now 11 years old. Time goes by so fast! It seems not to long ago when I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. I was so excited to become a mother. I also knew in my heart that it was going to be a boy. Everyday I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father sent that sweet boy to me. He has always been my biggest helper. Clay's brothers are so blessed to have him as their big brother. I know that he will guide and help them throughout their lives. Happy Birthday My Gentle Giant! The only present that he asked for was this AT-TE Walker Lego. So that is what we got him. He was so excited. He thought that it might be a good idea to stay home from school to put it together. Not a chance!

Clayton had his friend Hunter come over for a couple of hours to help him start putting the new Lego together. They had a blast!

He stayed up until 8:30 but here is the final result! Good Job!

Arrow of Light

Clayton received his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts on Tuesday night. This is the highest award a Cub Scout can get. We were so proud to see how hard he worked to get this. I've been the fill in Den leader for the past 4 months. I have loved spending time with Clay and realizing that he is really funny. Now it is time for Dad to take the reins and make him an Eagle Scout!
Here Clay is crossing the bridge from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. He was so nervous that he was going to say something wrong and then he wouldn't get his award.
I'm trying to put the badge on his shirt with a safety pin. It's harder than it looks!

We are so proud of you Clay! Good Luck in Boys Scouts! Soon to be a Eagle Scout? Of course!
