Another Snow Day

I am really late putting these pictures up. But better late than never right? The boys were so excited to see it snow again! Twice in one year, who would have ever guessed. They made snowballs and a big snowman. I was too late getting a picture of the snowman, who was destroyed by "gunfire" coming from the fort. My boys make me laugh!

Look at this one Mom! I love the look on his face!

Poor Wade!

Yes, Wade has Pneumonia again! I took him to the doctor last week because he had a fever and a cough that wouldn't go away. The doctor looked and Wade (who was jumping off the walls) and said that he looked just fine to him. So I politely told the doctor that this is how Wade is when he is sick. He has extreme highs and then he crashes. So I said that something was WRONG and to try and find out what it was. So they did come chest x-rays and sure enough, pneumonia. Wade has been a good sport through it all and is slowly getting better. We have to take him in every Monday for the next couple of weeks to get chest x-rays just to make sure his lungs are clear.Wade thought that his new inhaler was pretty cool. It is a lot faster than the breathing treatments that he has done in the past..

Boys, Where are you?

I decided that it was time to trim my tree in the front yard. When I bought the tree at Home Depot it was just a stick with a couple of branches on it. Since then it has done nothing but grow and grow. So I decided to trim it just a little. I enlisted the help of my two oldest boys. As I cut of a branch Wade would drag it over to the garbage on the side of the house. As I progressed to the smaller branches my boys had disappeared. I was so mad that they left me alone to do all of the work (again)! When I came around the side of the house this is what I saw. I camouflaged fort! And guess who was hiding it in! That's right, Clay and Wade! My sweet boys instead of putting the branches where they were suppose to they used them on their fort. I wanted to get mad but they proceeded to tell me, "But Mom we were just using our imagination like you tell us to."

A Hunting We Will GO

Luke went on his first hunting trip with Justin this past weekend. Luke was in his element! He loves everything about hunting. He had his bag packed that morning with fake bullets, gloves and his plastic knife. Luke also cleaned his shotgun (put new batteries in it) just for his hunt.
Justin said that Luke never complained once the whole trip. The temperture was really cold and there was snow and mud everywhere and he followed Justin with a smile. Luke is not afraid of anything so he carried the phesants around by their heads. He brought back some pretty feathers for mom.

Justin and his new hunting partner! They had so much fun and are ready to go again.

Happy Birthday Papa Joe!

Today is my Papa Joe's 83rd birthday. The boys were so excited this morning to call and sing to him, because he always sings to them on their birthdays. That is only one reason that I love him so much. He never forgets about me or my kids, EVER! Even living far away in South Carolina he wrote to them faithfully and my boys loved getting every letter that was sent to them. Papa Joe has always been a fun and loving grandpa. Growing up we spent so much time visiting them at Girls Camp. Papa Joe was in charge of taking care of the LDS Girls Camp up Fairview Canyon for 6-8 months out of the year. So I wanted to go and stay with him as much as possible. I loved going to be with him because I always felt so much love from him (also he let me do whatever I wanted). The only draw back was that I had to share "MY" Papa Joe with all of the other girls that came up to stay. I just wanted him for myself.
I just want "MY" Papa Joe to know how much I love and appreciate him. He is the best grandpa anyone could ever ask for! Thank you for always letting me be who I am and loving me for it. Thank you for supporting me in everything that I do and have done in my life. My boys think the world of you and I hope that. They love you so much. I hope that you have a great day! I LOVE YOU!

This is Clayton with Papa Joe up at Girls Camp. I always loved being rocked in that chair just like Clayton did too.
Here is Wade swinging with Papa Joe. He can give the best underdogs EVER! My kids love it!This is Luke just being loved by Papa Joe! Luke thinks that he is the best. Now that Luke is older he loves listening and watching what Papa Joe does. It is so cute!
