Monster Jam!

On Saturday the boys went to Monster Jam in Las Vegas. They had a blast! All of the boys had to keep their protective ear muffs on because of the noise. I thought that they would fight Justin on this issue but he had no problems. I think that they were happy just to be there. This was Clayton's and Wade's third time going and Luke's first. Mom also enjoyed a little bit of time to herself!This is Maximum Destruction, Clayton's favorite one. He watches this truck on T.V. all of the time.

Of course this is Luke's favorite truck. Monster Mutt! He wants to drive it when he gets bigger.

This Monster Truck is Grave Digger! It has been Wade favorite since he was 2 years old.

Luke was so tired! He was up the whole night before because he wanted to see Monster Mutt! Justin said that he didn't even bat an eye when the trucks were jumping off ramps into other cars.

Cousins!

Last weekend I was finally able to go to my brothers house to visit! I haven't seen my niece and nephews for almost a year. They had gotten so big! There was also a new addition, Finlay! He was so cute. I never wanted to quit holding him (and I didn't). Thank you Brooke for letting me get my baby fix. My boys had such a great time with their cousins. They played legos, watched movies and played at the park. Wade and his cousin Taggert are really good friends. They were stuck to each other from the moment we got there until we left. When it was time to leave Wade ran out to the car and climbed into the back to cry his eyes out. He kept saying the Tag was his best friend in the whole world and he didn't want to leave him. So I was trying to hold back my tears but it was breaking my heart too. So I am definitely going to visit them more often. Thank you Tony and Brooke for letting us come and crash! I couldn't ask for a better brother and sister-in-law!All the kids loved playing outside with each other. Poor Scout is the only girl but she is a good sport to play army and pirates with the boys.

Hunting Buddies

Clayton decided that if Luke had so much fun pheasant hunting with Justin the first time he wanted to go and try it too. So Justin took both of them up to Utah. Clayton loved seeing all of the pheasants flying around just waiting for him to shoot them down. Luke's favorite part about going pheasant hunting is he gets to play with the dogs. He thinks that it is awesome when they bring him dead birds to hold. I'm glad that they had so much fun together. Mom had a nice time at home with only one boy to manage.

What's Happening Here

Things around here have been really crazy. Wade finished with all of his chest x-rays on Monday. The doctor said that his lungs look clear and healthy. So that is a huge blessing and relief. Also on Monday the mold cleaners started working on getting our house CLEAN!!! I am so excited to finally have a healthy house. They tore out the wall between the laundry and bathroom. So yes, that means I have no way to do laundry. I have such good friends that have let me come and use their machines so that my boys have clothes to wear to school. The bathroom is completely tore up. We are going to have to put a new cabinet in and redo the tile and toilet. For now the bathroom is sealed off and that means everyone gets to use my bathroom. I hate it! I am looking forward to my house just being done and kids feeling better. Clayton is home sick today with a really bad chest cold and fever. Luke has strep with a double ear infection. So I am hoping that I will have a normal day soon.
